Beware. Not exactly as advertised.

LOVE LOVE LOVE The design and function of this light sounds great in theory, but it doesn't work as advertised and could definitely be brighter. I'm sure you've noticed that there are a few companies at Revain that make what looks like the exact same tail light. I chose this one. Maybe others are better? May be. I do not know. Design and install first. I LOVE design. All aluminum, very slim and flat, love how it slides under the seat. Most taillights are big and chunky, but this one looks sexy. Installation was easy, not sure how strong the seat track clip is, but once installed you hardly have to touch it other than unscrewing the light from the base to charge it which is not very common given the battery life, seems pretty good. .Functionality and brightness are in the foreground. Not everything is that bright. I definitely wish it was brighter. Spring. Any light is better than no light. Speaking of the lack of light, the motion sensor is the main downside of this light. In blinking (preferred) or "breathing" mode, the light will turn on first, but if the motion sensor automatically turns it off after a few minutes of no motion, it will never turn on again when motion resumes. I end up having to use it all the time, which isn't ideal, but better than nothing. For some reason the motion sensor doesn't affect the "always on" mode. The brake light feature is cool, not sure how useful it is or how well it actually works as I usually keep up. All in all a great looking light that just doesn't work as it's supposed to and isn't very bright. I will have to continue my search for a brighter and more reliable light source.
