This case looks great and protects your MacBook well if you are careful. My problem is that when lifting the top screen to open the laptop, the top cover tends to detach from the top. That's because the little clips that hold the lid in place aren't very good. I've read that some covers are so tight it's almost impossible to remove without fear of damaging the screen, which is worse. If you gently open your MacBook, it will work fine. But I sometimes find myself trying to remove the plastic cover, so it's not great. I'm only giving the durability 4/5 because I haven't had it long enough to know how it will hold up over time, but it definitely feels durable to me.
