My 8 year old Fossil strap finally broke - the clasp ripped through the strap - so I looked for a replacement first. They wanted $25 for a soft, plain strap. So I scoured the Amazon. It seemed very similar to the original and the price was right, so I pulled the trigger. I just put it on today (the day I'm writing this) and I'm totally impressed with the quality. The spring bar with internal attach/release lever is a nice feature and the material is very silky, not sticky or rubbery. Also, the stitching is real thread, not dyed silicone. It has a pleasant, unobtrusive shimmer. Time will tell how it holds up, but so far I'm happy.
