Great for sensitive skin

I'm the person who looks at a bottle of Maybelline and explodes. Is that so. Everything in a bottle has been giving me PTSD lately because one wrong move and I get itchy, red, and pus-filled pimples as a result of the reaction. I have contact dermatitis and allergies to things like air (joke), dust mites, seasonal plants and so on. My dermatologist just told me that people with my condition can even be allergic to fluoride toothpaste! I tried all beauty salons in all expensive stores and returned only the expensive so-called hypoallergenic cosmetics. All of this resulted in me developing an ominous red acne rash. Then one day the lightbulb burned out. I realized Neutrogena is something to wear because I used to wear it as a teenager and didn't react. So I got Neutrogena Mineral Powder and surprise! I didn't escape. But mineral powder makes people over 40 look more wrinkled, so I wanted to experiment again, this time with products I knew would be safe for me. So I realized that one of my favorite products was Marcelle Micellar Water so I checked out what else they have for crazy skin like mine and lo and behold BB Cream! I was a little hesitant to use it, so I bought one of those makeup sponges and sat and learned how to use them (funny, I know, but remember I can't wear makeup , so everything is new to me! ). I poured water on a sponge and then rang the bell. I didn't want to touch my face with my hands so I hoped the sponge would work better. I applied it very lightly to my face to see if I would break out. No! I washed my face thoroughly before bed and went through my usual cleansing and moisturizing routine. The next day I applied it again. No itching, no redness, nothing. Pure skin only. I'll say I'll probably need to add more moisturizer because I'm really dry in some spots (in my photo - under my eyes I definitely need help). And it's not always full coverage. So if you have a red pimple or two, you're probably using a primer. It covers other areas very well, but for me I feel I need to do a bit more. I'm also not sure if that shade is right. It seems too light for my skin tone. But overall I'm satisfied. I also always try to wash everything that touches my face and try not to use my hands. I also don't use any rubbing or sliding movements. Instead, I just dab my face with the liquid. I hope this helped someone like me who struggles with dry skin and needs non-comedogenic makeup to keep them from getting enough sleep. I'm so glad I can do makeup again!
