Initially skeptical. First used on the ears and it wasn't too bad. Much easier than using an electric trimmer and did the job perfectly. hair near the nose. Let's just say it removed hair with ease and did a more thorough job than an electric trimmer. I won't lie and say it was painless. She definitely had tears in her eyes. But it wasn't as bad as plucking them one at a time and making tear removal worse. It was a completed process to remove several at once. Continued a few more tweaks and I was happy with the overall performance. So don't expect painless removal. Even with the electric trimmer, there were moments of jerks and pauses. With tweezers, you knew what to expect next with every pinch. This device is more like removing a band-aid. It will suck. but just sucking is a buttercup. and do it. Slide it in, push the plunger, count backwards from 5, and pull it out at half strength. The hair is gone, tears are forming, but you only do that a few times, not over and over again like with tweezers. Highly recommended for the ears. It does a great job on nose hair. but you will know to uproot your hair. Knowing this up front will help you know what you're buying before you complain later. That being said, I would recommend ten times more nose hair than tweezers.
