I saw someone wearing these to a Spartan race recently. I like carrying my gear high on my shoulders, the minimal design and a bit of storage space. So off I went. Overall I am happy with my purchase. But one downside is that it seems like the balance is a little off balance. If someone runs with a vest, pull it from the back unless it's full in the front. I like the liter tank but have to use collapsible bottles in my front pockets to make sure it's balanced. When balance is lost, he rubs his wrists. I might stick with my 1.5L camel for ultras and beasts, but this vest should be fine for sprints or super races.
