They're right in saying that based on the product images you shouldn't expect much from them, but overall: they're not even bearably heavy shelves. Whilst they may be suitable for a child's room/drawing materials/loose and light items, the shelves do not appear to be made for storing standard bathroom/toiletries. For example, what if you have a house cat? I would keep them away as an adventurous leap up the shelves would easily knock them over. Aside from the durability of the vinyl pages (which pick up fingerprints and are likely to warp if anything over a pound or two is stored), the instructions are poor and barely legible; the build just feels bad; and the modularity of the shelving on the market is undermined by 1) not packing enough feet into the box and 2) the fact that I wouldn't trust any of the 1x3 towers of these blocks to fall under the influence of anything stronger as a Spring Breeze, 2-3 stars for children's toy or plush toy collection, 1 star for intended storage of clothing, medication, or anything over a pound. Look elsewhere!
