They are not OEM as advertised but I did not expect them to be. The lowest price you can get for a legitimate pair is $20 (which I also bought) and they sound very similar to these, they're not tinny at all and they just lack the bass that Samsung is known for. for great bass, they also feel almost the same, which was the most important thing for me. As a backup set they are fantastic, not sure how long they will last but how cheap they are. I would like to use them for a month if you have a genuine Samsung case from your original pair and then keep them in it would be better if you plan on just throwing them in your bag as the quality of the cable isn't that great is good, so it helps maintain their lifespan, although any hard case will do. Note: I bought these for about $10 for a 2 pack, I wouldn't pay much more for them. So if the price goes up to around $20, you'd be better off just getting a real single pair with 1000+ reviews. Update: It's been about two and a half months. and the left earbud of the first pair I used is starting to lose power, it's not completely broken but less sound comes out than the right one. Honestly I expected them to last about a month each considering 2 packs cost about half the price of a single OEM pair so they're definitely worth the price broken. 2nd update: 2nd pair the same left earbud had died in less than a week so I downgraded my rating back to 4 stars as maybe I just got lucky with the first pair, I've had a pair in the past few days uses OEM and they definitely sound a lot better for music, but watching videos or podcasts doesn't make much of a difference. I'll take them again to see if I get lucky with the first pair.
