I ordered these flashlights for video and photo purposes, the flashlights arrived on time and were exactly as described, easy to install with a bag to pack them full, they are quite large , so make sure you have a nice decent area with plenty of room for lights, the lighting shade is like that stuff you put in front of your car window to keep the sun off the lighting cover, it's like a very thin piece of plastic I like it not that the lighting cover is quite flimsy and only fastens with velcro. I think you can use them if you want. I decided against it, and some of the demo photos I posted above are quite large. I'm 5'9 5 10 and the lanterns are as tall as me if not taller, the standard is strong enough to hold, they aren't heavy but be careful not to hit them as they aren't really carry a lot of weight and fall will be easy to turn off, i like the fact that the plug and cord also have a switch but it also comes with a remote control, the instructions clearly state that there are no batteries in the remote control, please buy Their own.
