week in use: excellent pocket watch. The weight is the first thing you notice. The feeling is significant. The front door opens well, but not up to 90 degrees. It's securely fastened. The photo frame function is easy to open by rotating and pulling out the markers on the frame in the north/south direction. (if you don't insert a photo there, the frame will rattle). Behind it is a "stand" to hold on to. It's a little unreliable and has balance issues. The dial is large and easy to read. The calendar window is good but could be bigger (for us old folks). The included chain is long enough to attach to most vests and trouser pockets. 4.5 stars. i will keep it
