I love these boots! Based on the reviews, I sort of expected them to be flimsy and cheap. But they are perfect! I wear an 8 .5 and they fit just right. They aren't too tight or too loose around my strong calves, and at 5'7, 180 and usually having a tough time finding boots that I like that also fit my chubby legs, these are amazing. They are going to be great for wearing them out and around shopping and for more playful nights at home for dress up. I doubt they will withstand a ton of of wear and year but I'm certain that they will last through regular use as my special occasion boots. I also bought the purple ones, which I am glad I did. It is a royal, almost wine color and I think that they might be a little darker than I see on this listing but a beautiful color no matter what.
