I am very glad I bought this device. It's so hard to find a charger storage compartment that is a) small and very expensive and b) lockable. Annoyingly, many of them have a lock with a key, meaning it prevents multiple people from accessing it as only one person has the key. I don't feel that this product is unreliable. Okay yeah I think if the front door got hit or hit hard it could explode. But in my environment I don't think that will happen. I have a lot of accessories that need to be locked as well, so being able to remove the slots and remove anything I don't need was really handy. I like the way the outlet fits into two slots on the back for security.
