I live in an area where I can fly miles and my UAV is in "line of sight". Locating my MA2 visually at any distance over 100 yards at 350 feet can be challenging. This lightweight flash makes VLS a breeze. I can focus on the photo and see the flash at the edge. I have low flyers, rescue helicopters, combine harvesters, and a variable pop-up that says "we're not messing around", a no-fly zone patrolled by low flyers - (Go Joe). I want to be seen I used the included Velcro to attach the flash to the back right leg. I think I can maintain VLS by going to a location, take some photos and then focus on my UAV when I get home. I made my choice based on need to stand out, then ease, then cost. Very important.
