I bought these for my son who loves these boots very much. Although we don't have snow right now, we had heavy rain a few days after delivery and then a snowstorm. Normally my kid slips and slides first when it snows, but he's never slipped in these boots. He also somehow manages to get his feet wet, but with those he took them off and he had dry feet. When I got him to try them on I got him to use his thickest socks but even with those big pieces he was still able to put these shoes on we just had to loosen the laces a bit. Even with all that mud and snow, it never slides or skids. When the dirt gets hard we just wait for it to dry and then bang them against the ladder and we're done. The bottom end also has good traction.
