Review on BoxWave EverTouch Capacitive Stylus for iPad 4 & 3 - Ultra-Responsive FiberMesh Tip for Smooth Glide & Increased Accuracy (Jet Black) by Niranjan Reynolds

Very smooth, responsive - gets the job done

I tried two stylus pens: ICONO Scribe (with rubber tip) and this one: BoxWave EverTouch. Here is my review of the BoxWave Evertouch. Pros: - VERY SMOOTH. This stylus glides very smoothly across the screen of my iPad 3. While the rubber-tipped stylus tends to offer some resistance, BoxWave's cloth-tipped stylus feels very much like a smooth pen. There is practically no resistance to movement. With this stylus I can write in my real handwriting. My signature looks just like it does on paper and I don't even have to think about tediously writing - all natural - RESPONSIBLE. The iPad screen easily accepts this stylus. With the ICONO rubber tip, the pen requires a little more pressure, in this case not much is required. The screen still isn't as responsive as a finger, but it seems better than a rubber tip to me. - Build quality. The quality seems to be normal, but it is better to judge over time. I've only had the stylus for a few days. Size: The stylus is about 3/4 inch shorter than a standard pen but long enough to fit my hand comfortably. I have an average hand size for a pen. man cons: - easy. Some people like a light pen, but I prefer pens with some bulk. It's basically a hollow aluminum tube, so it's very light-thin. It's too thin for my taste. The pens have a better grip and are about the same diameter as a disposable pen. - flexible. The tip of the pen is a bit too flexible for my taste. Holding the tip may touch the screen. But that has happened to me several times. I didn't notice any scratches. until I find them useful. If you don't like them, don't worry as they are easy to remove using the spring link at the end of the pin. Overall I love this pen and have already used it with bamboo paper to professionally sketch out concepts and ideas. I expect it will continue to be a very useful iPad accessory.
