It's so beautiful and modern. The metal is more gold than brass but not super bright gold which is perfect for me as I prefer it. The chairs are very comfortable. I don't have kids but so far they have been easy to clean. To be honest I don't use them often so I'm not sure how they perform in a heavy usage household but they work fine for me. I've had a positive experience with chair returns (I originally ordered 4 but only wanted 3 for my space). I actually had to take it to a FedEx store where I'm lucky enough to have an SUV, otherwise it would have been a problem. The chairs come fully assembled in a box, which is nice. I would recommend them to families without children (at least the white version), other colors might be better for children. Just clean it as soon as it gets dirty and you'll be fine. I soiled them with dirt and food and they immediately disappeared. Update: After a few months of use, the chairs still look great. I had to buy a little green Bissell machine to restore it to its snow white cleanliness as after a while the whites turned yellow from the spot cleaning detergent. Bissel's little green car did everything right and they were super white again!
