Cool presser foot but I will still wear my walking foot

The foot arrived on time and in perfect condition so I had to test it! I mainly sew knitwear. I've used the walking foot with them successfully, but changing the presser feet is a bit of a hassle once I've put the fabric feed on my machine. I chose this sewing foot because I read on a sewing forum that the knitting foot comes in handy because it's easier to attach than the walking foot. It just snaps into place, which I honestly like, but it doesn't work for all knit fabrics. I tested the knitting foot in jersey, liverpool, cotton, lycra, and viscose. I also changed the sewing machine foot pressure while testing different knitting stitches. The jersey foot has performed well at the lowest sewing foot pressure on jersey blends, liverpool and cotton lycra with any stretch stitch (wolby, zigzag, triple stretch stitch and simulated twill). I tried increasing the presser foot pressure, but this stretched and shifted the fabric to the left, making it difficult to get a straight stitch line (if you get this with this foot, reduce your machine's presser foot pressure). down to the lowest level). After testing the knit foot with stable and semi-stable knit, I tested it with light viscose/lycra. I will definitely continue to use the walking foot for light fabrics. After all the adjustments on my machine (sewing foot pressure and thread tension adjustment), it always stretched the viscose and shifted the fabric to the left. I am happy with my purchase. I wasn't expecting to completely replace my walking leg ($40 foot) with an inexpensive alternative. I will definitely use the knitting foot for a more durable knit.
