We love making macaroons and this is a fun way to make them to a party or to the office to share. They're large enough, about 2 inches by 5 inches, for a large number of cookies. These are light colors as in the listing. They are durable and made of hard plastic. I wrap the cookies in kitchen paper so they don't break. The lid is completely removed, it is not connected by a hinge. They are easy to wash. I think the dishwasher will be fine.
