I have a lot of thick, long, naturally curly hair, so it takes a long time to dry. This turban towel is great for wrapping my hair in and helps soak up some of the extra moisture after a shower. My hair gets partially dry when I go and get dressed, put makeup on etc. When I'm finally ready to dry my hair the drying time is drastically reduced as my hair is much less damp after wrapping it in this towel became. Hand towel. The best part is that it retains some water. With curly hair I can't just let it air dry because it gets frizzy and looks awful. This towel holds enough moisture that when I'm ready to style my hair I can still brush it out, add some hair product and then either air dry or spray if I want it to dry faster. The turban style towel has some moisture. learning curve for that. I actually used it in reverse for my first two attempts! But once I realized it, I liked it! You simply twist your hair forward and place the wide end at the back of your head, tuck your hair in, twist and pin. There is a small button at the back and a loop at the front for you to attach the towel if your hair is curly. It stays in place much better than a regular bath towel wrapped around my head. An ordinary towel weighs too much and keeps falling. This towel stays in place after I pull the button up. The terry cloth material is soft and does not irritate the skin. And I love neutral whites - I just don't use a towel on my hair coloring days! :) I got this turban style hair towel for free in exchange for an honest review.
