I love this deodorant so much! It holds the stench very well, even in Southeast Texas where year-round heat and humidity can be an issue, feels great and smells great. I ran out of greasy face balm a while ago and before ordering a new one I used a deodorant balm on my face which works just as well as the face balm. All of their products are made with lard, real oils and essential oils so they are all great products to use without fear of getting all sorts of chemicals on my freshly shaved armpits etc which is what most deodorant would do Big No is Soak up more of any good or bad ingredients that are in the product once you've shaved. I also have issues with smells, most of the time it should all be unscented but this one does have a bit of an odor but it's pleasant, not too strong and if I can wear it with no problems then almost everyone will! Just ask my family, it drives them nuts that I have such a problem with all the smells and deodorant smells that heat up under your arm and can penetrate your clothes very badly and believe me I've been through so much and thrown away because there was actually some smell I couldn't stand in unscented deodorants. With Vintage Tradition Deodorant Balm I don't really notice it after a while and don't worry about chemicals like I do with other deodorants. Aluminum is debatable, but I say if there's a chance it could be contributing to Alzheimer's, then it's best to avoid stuff on the shelves and stock up on my vintage traditions.
