UPDATED: After watching some YouTube videos, I learned that you should not close the tool positioner with these parts inside. Instead, you flatten the paper with one or more Creative Corners elements, and then use a magnet to hold the paper in place while the Creative Corners are removed. THEN you can start stamping. Although I have abused it I will leave it at a 4 star rating because it seems a bit pricey for the benefits it offers. It works out? Yes. So I would say take this if you think you can use it! It looks and feels like a quality product and is definitely very useful with a die positioning tool like MISTI. But I have the Tim Holtz stamp tool, not MISTI, and when using transparent stamps those creative corners don't seem to allow the lid to close completely. I'll play with it some more and edit this review if necessary.
