I am a professional photographer and videographer. A new client asked me to film her son's proposal to her friend. Most of my devices are big and bulky. I bought this gimbal knowing it would allow me to record stable video from my iPhone. There are several issues that need to be addressed. #1: Controls - Controls can make it very difficult to get the shots you want. It looks like some kind of internal battle between stabilization software and control software. It was very difficult to point the camera at the subject I was filming. #2. Build Quality - The included tripod stand does not add stability to the gimbal. The movement of the gimbal will cause the tripod to shift and move, preventing a clean shot. #3. Software/App - The app that needs to be downloaded to access all the control functions of your phone is complete rubbish! Every time you stop recording, it takes a few minutes for the video to "save". If you record long footage, the software cannot save the video and you will lose it. 2 30-minute recordings were not saved. All videos ruined as the main events were not preserved. I not only lost this customer, but also all potential future customers who were present at this offer. My image and integrity mean a lot to me and both have suffered from the poor work done on this product.
