I recently purchased a used Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera (1080p original version) for my YouTube channel. I needed a battery solution and after some research I realized I had to have one of these. I bought one a long time ago from another company in anticipation of this camera, but I was sure it would only run on 8 volts. That was wrong because the camera needs 12 volts. I ordered this one, plugged it in, put in a Sony NP battery and it worked flawlessly. It can be clipped or screwed to various brackets. I can customize it the way I want it. Works with very popular Sony NP-f550/960/970 batteries. — Nathin Brendan Masters.
