Purchased by: AmberPros 6 hour timer which is longer than many, good for the winter months (set and forget). The amber color comes closest to the actual color of the flame. Durable (have used them outside too, just don't let the underside stay wet, but even then you can just dry them and they'll work again). Battery life is about the same indoors and outdoors (even in changeable weather - although I haven't tried it in sub-zero temperatures yet, it's close). The value for money is just fantastic. Well packaged (even comes with rose petals to sprinkle) and battery included. Finally, the batteries are easy to replace. I have had several other kits that require small screws to be removed each time, these are just tabs and this is of great value to me. Cons: Batteries die in 2 1/2 weeks so you can barely see the light. To be fair, the packaging is clear in this regard (it says the batteries last 72-100 hours, which is accurate), and the timer indicators are notorious for charging the battery. I buy batteries for them in bulk, but it's very difficult to go through so many and keep changing them. I didn't deduct any stars as their battery rating is accurate (and I think battery drain is an industry issue for battery powered candles, not company specific). Conclusion: Absolutely recommendable for the price. Best value for money timer tea lights I've found. I bought the amber at first for $7 a set, then the price went up and I still went back and ordered a few more sets, even at a higher price. Feel free to place them anywhere to create a candlelight atmosphere.
