Many people complain that the adhesive pad is not very sticky. I believe it's made out of some sort of nanobubble tape pad. It has microscopic indentations on the surface that suck up the duo's glass substrate. The clutch is good enough if it didn't accidentally disengage. With this type of adhesive, you can always pull the surface out of the case and stick it back on when you're done. If the pad gets dirty you can simply clean it with a lint free cloth with a little soap and water and it will become sticky again. I have skin with a skin texture on my surface and the sticky pad still holds it well. , I love the deal. It's protective and can be easily removed if I find it bulky or unwieldy. I recommend this case in a country where there are so few good duo cases.
