The sound quality is average, but noise canceling headphones can cause a lot of interference. The volume control is not related to a connected device, but controls the volume independently of the volume of your device. The worst part is the durability, the casing around the play/pause button doesn't feel like much and the volume knob has fallen off. I had this product for less than a week before it started to break down. Better to choose something more durable.
