The description of this product is misleading. This is not a Wi-Fi range extender as the Enhancer wording suggests. It will not amplify your signal. It's just an HDMI cable extension, so you can add a foot to the length of the front stick, as opposed to the short extension that already comes with every Fire Stick. Too bad I didn't read the reviews before buying. Very disappointed. I ended up getting 2 wi-fi extenders per floor to create a wi-fi zone since my cable is a whole house unit connected to the basement. If you just want lengthening, which it is, great. If you really need a WiFi booster, DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM. First of all, the description box of this product states that it boosts your signal and makes it easier for you to place your fire stick closer to the Wi-Fi box. If someone has a TV in the same room as a Stick and your Wi-Fi box and it's not working, I would call your cable provider to fix it. There's no reason why your joystick won't work if it's in the same room. This statement is so misleading and inaccurate as to what a Wi-Fi box is supposed to do. The purpose of a range extender is to allow you to be in a different room where your Wi-Fi box is located to get a stronger signal. The very definition in this description of this product is misleading and I hope Revain removes the wording for this article.
