After my initial review, GemStar sent me a personal email, a replacement chain and an additional chain which they say is of slightly better/better quality. So far the second chain has held up well on my son and it matches my authentic rose gold pendant better than the previous chain. I've only had the new necklace for a few days so I don't know how it will hold up over time. However, I am very impressed with their customer service and commitment to making the customer happy. My little son managed to break it with a simple tug less than a week after buying it. The chain is also not real rose gold, so it will not match rose gold jewelry.
