Wonderful! Very convenient and beautiful camera. Most likely the same for more expensive cameras. This makes photography fun again. It's been years since I had Olympus cameras as a kid and cheap digital cameras just don't do the same. But this Sony has made me very happy. Make sure you use a Carl Zeiss lens and not a Sony lens! (The x in the title is the difference.) I regularly take photos of a kayak at Vogelsee, and the Gold Automatic setting stabilizes the images and comes out great. I don't know how image stabilizers work, but they work very well. This is the third camera in the family. The first one was impressive until I got to drive it in a Pathfinder on a snowy morning with frozen door locks. Long story. It still turns on fine, but the lens doesn't move properly. An interesting science experiment, but I advise against it. So she has a new one, and finally I have one too. Batteries last a long time except in video mode so it's good to have plenty of spares. And take a large memory card so you can take pictures freely. Make sure the card is rated 10 and not 4. This saves images faster between shots. Simply put, this camera is a lot of fun and takes good photos. Attached image of a kayak floating on the lake at full magnification! Yes. Moving camera with full zoom. Really nice. (I scaled it down to post here.)
