This one is hit or miss. Some of my daughters fave toys in the bag weren't the musical instruments! Theres a little reticulated worm that's a huge hit. I love playing with that little thing as much, if not more, than my daughter. And she loves music, so I thought she'd love making music. I thought wrong. That's on us though, not on the item.The issue I have is that it says that the painted toys shouldn't be mouthed. Um. This is a toy for small children. They're GOING to put them in their mouths. So we're holding onto the the painted maracas and things until she's older and can follow that direction.I don't think it's a bad buy. I don't regret getting it. But any toy thats designed for children should be painted with non-toxic paint.
