I was searching for just the right bin to store my 'active' yarn collection. I needed just the right size to fit what I am currently working on, and it had just the right look. These bins are great! They keep their shape and are tall enough & straight sided, so they hold a lot of yarn. Some yarn is in plastic bags of 10 skeins, while most is stored in ziplock bags to deter moths; neither is very beautiful to look at. My less-active yarn is stored in plastic totes, which too are just so dull and boring.Like previous reviews said putting towels or pillows in it at first will help it relax the wrinkles from shipment. It took less than a week and it completely stood on its own. I was pleasantly surprised how sturdy this was. I also needed something that wouldn't scratch my hard wood floors. Overall it was a great investment and I wouldn't hesitate to encourage others to purchase this item.
