I had no idea they had stuff like this. I used a dish pan and really didn't like it very much so I only used it once or twice. It was too big and used more water. This basin is smaller and therefore easier to fill and empty. I wear flip flops because my feet are hot and even after a bath my feet look dirty in places like the back of the heels etc. So I have to use a pumice stone. There's a rock and I don't always have time to play with it in the shower. Now that I have the time I can just run to the bathroom and fill up the foot bath and it won't take long at all! I have erythromelalgia and my feet get hot and sometimes I have to soak them in cold water which is perfect. for that too. I wear size 8 shoes so I took a picture to show how much leg room I have. Then I measured front to back and got 11 inches in the pelvis.
