Why, why does it smell so bad? I like the size, weight, color. But my god, it smells so strong. A review I read said it cleared up in a few days. I've been wearing it for over a week and it still smells. However, it was still in a plastic bag. I have to decide if I keep it and wash it - the Big Skinny website says it can be washed but NOT tumble dried. It's sunny here so I can wash it and let it dry outside. But if I wash it and it still smells, I wonder if I can return it? Will update with my choice. Update 1: I left it unpackaged for two days. It still smelled. Decided to give it a try and see what happens. I hand washed it and laid it out to dry. This reduced the smell. I noticed that the smell comes from the PVC that is in the area of the card slots. I have no idea how long it takes for PVC to stop smelling, but I can tell you washing doesn't get rid of the smell. Update 2: This took over a month. Finally no smell. It's lightweight and easy to use. Too long for a small wallet, but otherwise great. If the smell is more than you, stay away.
