I am very happy with this little thing. Favoring wood, glass and steel over plastic and acrylic in almost everything, this soap dispenser is perfect for the components as they come. We've been using it daily for over a month - with two teenagers (okay, one rarely, if ever, washes dishes. I'm going back) and it's holding up very well. There are no parts that could rust. The painted area is not torn. The little rubber feet stayed intact and the pump never clogged. It is also amazing that dirt and excess water left on the sponge does not get into the soap holder, so the lower transparent part does not get dirty or dirty. If bits of food stuck to the sponge get on it, they are easily washed out without even diluting the lower "soapy” part of the jar. So it still looks clean! Even my very picky husband is happy with him and he always does things his own way. (;-) ha! Isn't that all?) Oh, I almost threw away the included sponge. I like a microfiber-coated washcloth or a cotton washcloth. It's just not mine.
