I haven't used clear hair ties in over 15 years and I remember it was the most disappointing experience. I took one to put in my hair, tried to gently stretch it to fit my hair, and BLOW it was broken. In the morning I made 2-3 pieces. These hair ties are way better than the goody I bought years ago. I haven't broken any yet (it's been about a month or two since I bought them). Sometimes my husband even plays with them and stretches them and he doesn't break them. surpasses the brands you are used to. I'm so glad I believed the reviews and chose them. Honestly, I'm hoping this guy sells his formula (or whatever makes it so potent) to Goody so they become the market standard. My favorite way to use them is in banana buns. I have hair a little longer than my shoulders (I have thin hair but hairdressers like to tell me there is a lot of it) and the 30mm size is ideal.
