Bad design and even worse quality control.

1. This item does not support recommended weight. I bought 2 of these, both could not support my 26lb 34" monitor in any position other than the topmost position. I even tried adjusting the hand strength, but it was already at the limit. I have a different monitor. The stand is from Fleximounts (dual arm, lower weight limit) and the arm strength screw on this one seems endless. 2. This thing will damage your table. They provide terrible padding (5 small pads) and only "protect" the top of your table, not the bottom. be fixed on the table causing the clamp to be crooked due to the various forces acting on the mounting bar Due to the design of my table it has a ledge at the back and then an area under the table itself where I can put things , and then another table below. Because of this, the screw that secures the C-Clamp to the table prevents the C-Clamp from being installed correctly. The screw cap cannot be removed and it also LOVES to mark your table if you put it too close.4. Looks damn ugly. Not as bad as some monitors, but rather ugly. Due to the way handlebars are made, if you take your hand off and put it on, it will scratch and damage the cover on top of the handlebar, which is made of cheap plastic. This cap had to be made removable or not manually installed initially.5. Instructions are the most confusing thing in the world. They combine 2 different editing methods on the same step numbers and don't differentiate them except for a small text that was very easy to miss and this text was only present on one of the steps. (They also said "slide" instead of "screw", which confused me for a very long time)6. The quality is lacking. The set screws were all the way in when my mount came in and weren't mentioned in the owner's manual (which says the bottom cap is to "slide" onto the stem) so when I tried to fit the stem into the Base to screw C-Clamp, locating the screws started chewing on the threads and prevented me from screwing them all the way in until I found these set screws.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Unsafe
