Also, from the moment you start using these dyes, you MUST use COLD or COLD water when washing your hair. In general, due to molecular weight and size, red fades faster, ironically making it harder to remove. Red is obligation. It requires the same attention as caring for a blonde. The water temperature is critical. In cold or cold weather, it seals the hair cuticle and keeps the color inside. Also, the heat from hair dryers and irons, like fabric, fades in the sun. If they don't work for you then either the product is COUNTERFEIT or you don't care about the color in general.
