The Gambler is a warm, masculine fragrance. a strange mix of aromas they describe, with Fresh Tobacco being the most dominant scent. I also get some vanilla, although it's not on the list, which is what they wanted. I like the smell, but it's very subtle and subdued. I only feel it on myself, maybe for an hour, but it's never strong, just a touch. Knowing this, I deposited a large amount, got in the car, and drove three hours to my wife's, who was away on business. When I wanted to surprise her with a new fragrance, I was disappointed because she didn't say anything about it. I finally asked her and she said she didn't smell anything. I even got her to smell my neck and wrists, she said it smelled faintly of smoke but nothing more. Left in three hours, locked in a car with no open windows and an air conditioner blowing straight at me. I've worn it a few times since then and it just doesn't seem to be holding up. Meh, I'm not thrilled with this product. Five stars because it's bold and unusual, minus two because it's as strong as a bouquet of three dandelion flowers.
