Inconsistent sizing

Sizing is very inconsistent. I bought a pair that were a little snug so I bought the size up. Although the tag said they were a size up, they were about an inch smaller in all areas when laying flat. Was wanting more of a loose stretchy shirt for a beach cover up. This was not it.

These jeans are stretchable. I am able to pull them above my waste. it was short but I had to cut the sides. I''m insure about my inner thighs. All and all I LOVE THESE JEANS. will be purchasing more.
