Review on πŸ”Œ KINDRM USB C Hub Adapter: 4in1 Multiport Type C to USB 3.0 Hub for MacBook, iPad Pro, Pixelbook, and More by Brian Henley

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Only ONE Hub 3.0 (the other three are 2.0)

The goods arrived on time. However, I probably should have spent more time reading the description to figure out that there is only ONE of the four 3.0 hubs before shelling out money on a purchase. I bought this because the first hubs I bought were 2.0 and I found that 2.0 wasn't fast enough to load music for a DJ gig. I bought another one, a 3.0 and a 2.0, but found that a 3.0 wasn't enough. I ended up buying this one, assuming all ports were 3.0 since the title advertises "3.0" in larger, bolder font. I found something was wrong when I tested it with my DJ software and I had to stare at a black screen at times and wait for the music to load while skipping the right spots to the music playing to mix. When the music finally loaded, I noticed that the individual tracks I wanted to play next often loaded slowly. So I guessed that either none or not all ports are actually 3.0. I went back to read more of the description to find out that only one port is 3.0 and the other three are 2.0! So I just spent the money to go back and buy a second hub with just a 3.0 slot when I need one with two or more! Yes, I could use both hubs with a 3.0 slot at the same time to make it look like two 3.0 slots, but now I ended up paying more money to have two cheaper things to carry around and stick out of my laptop while I work if i could just pay less for a more expensive one that actually had multiple slots at ALL 3.0 speeds. The product works and it arrived on time and I think it will come in handy as a backup but. it wasn't what I needed, although the title led me to believe it was. I guess I'll give it four stars as it looks and performs better than the other brand I have and also just a 3.0 with a different 2.0 slot.

Pros
