Hardest part was clipping the rib out of the hose.

Without removing the rib from the inside of the hose, this spayed water all over the place. However once I clipped the rib as flush as I could from inside the hose, this reattached easily and does not leak at all. It took me less than two minutes to attach this fitting and it works great. It took about 45 minutes of what I thought was hard work clipping the rib out of about 2 inches or less from the inside of the hose. Glad I bought these.

Pros

It works great to eliminate the leaks where the cut hose meets the male connector! Love it!

Cons

The package only includes three sets of fittings, which may not be enough for larger projects
