PROFESSIONAL: - LED BULBS: LED bulbs are bright, high quality components, E26 base (easy to find/replace) - IP65 PROTECTION: Trust me you need it especially if you use (like most of us) outdoors = "dust proof" and protected from heavy seas / water jets - no "sea" on our backyard patio but that's ok ;) -2 for 1 COST IMO - you get 2 strings of lights (15 bulbs per string about 3ft apart) for the price of other competitors 1 string of LED bulbs (less than IP65)! their built in loop TERMINALS (through) - actually have end caps for sealing wires/electrical contacts. You may not think this is important, but it is! I think you could wire up to 3 together = 150ft of light output which gives some versatility. We used 2 sets and did our entire 20 x 25 foot deck and the stairs to the deck. AGAINST: - HELL! - The color of these LED bulbs is more "white” than yellow. I'm sure that "color" and for us = "more white than yellow" have a technical property. The brightness problem can (probably) be solved by buying a dimmer. There will be more information in this part. Haven't had a chance to check the weather protection rating BUT it will be due to stormy/windy weather in the midwest of the country. Overall satisfied with the Magictec product (so far so good)!
