Perfect size for baby food

We bought this to transport baby food to and from nursery. The closures are airtight and keep cold/frozen food cool from evening to mid-afternoon. They have been dropped and none of them are chipped or worn out. Best of all, they're perfect for 3 Rubbermaid ice cubes, so you can have lots of fun mixing and matching the foods you're feeding your baby (pureed apples/bananas, strawberries/bananas, peas/yams, peas/carrots) . We love these pieces and they make a great addition to a dinner service without worrying about BPA! UPDATE (11/17/13): Our baby is 10 months old and still using these blocks. We've found that if you put 3 cubes in, they melt (I put in 3 cubes around noon and after about an hour they're melted enough that I can put a fourth cube in and then put a lid on top). and you can actually add a fourth cube to get 4 food cubes. Our little one was picky about veggies, but we found that if we mix 1 cube of fruit puree and 3 cubes of veg puree, the fruit puree will mask the flavor of the veg and she ends up eating it! She HATES peas, but we mix her peas with fruits (peaches) and other veggies (zucchini) and she LOVES it. What I love about these cubes is that you can mix and match ice cubes based on your child's preferences. We usually make: 1 cube of fruit (peaches, applesauce), 1 cube of "neutral" vegetables (pears, zucchini, etc.), and 2 cubes of vegetables (green beans, peas, sweet potatoes, etc.). Now that our little one is used to the texture, we fill 1/3 of the bottom with chopped tofu, cooked lentils, or chopped steamed vegetables, etc. and cover with crushed ice cubes (2 pieces), resulting in chunks. a hot pot when she starts kindergarten. Now when she eats more we use two cubes and when her appetite grows we just add cubes. We love these things! The lids are strong, don't leak and the glassware is very durable!
