In short: not for small waists. Liked the belt. It's strong and seems to last a long time. My only issue is that this is definitely not a "one size fits all" product. I usually wear a size 2-4 in jeans and this belt was just sooo big. Not in the "it's completely useless" sense, but it has a huge excess that wraps halfway around my waist, making the whole thing extremely unwieldy. the price, but it will stand out too much to wear under anything but a winter coat or bulky sweater.
