Review on πŸͺ‘ Martha Stewart Markus Accent Ottoman – Metal Frame, Soft Fabric, Small Stool Chair with Modern Foam Padded Top – Cream Living Room Furniture by Kelly Haywood

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Beautiful to look at and comfortable! But the holes are slightly offset and don't sit flat.

This small stool is from the Martha Stewart Perry Street Collection. It only takes three parts to assemble and with the help of an Allen wrench, the hardware and the instructions it turned out to be a fairly easy task. However, the holes on the back of our pad didn't line up with the metal legs and it took two people to assemble, one pressing down firmly on the legs to bend them slightly and the other inserting the hardware when we could. Finally line up the holes. What should have been a 3-5 minute task ended up taking about 20 minutes. But we got it together and I'm thrilled! The gold trim on the legs combined with the thick cream colored cushion is just stunning. It is very comfortable! I installed it as a small bench in my shower room (see photo). It doesn't sit flat, which is a shame, but when I sit on it, it doesn't wobble from side to side, so that's fine with me. It appears to be very durable and the specs say it can support up to 300 pounds. It really adds a touch of luxury to my bathroom and it was so close to 5 stars! Love it.
