Good quality but could be improved upon closer inspection/control. The only thing I don't like is the blue grip with a few SMALL chips/burrs under the blue anodizing. For $30 it's ok, the tool is unaffected. Virtually no effect on cosmetics. It opens well and is stable, mine is not difficult to open like some reviews say. The blade is easily accessible/replaceable. This is my first shavetta and it's pretty simple and straightforward. However, the shaving action and shaving angles on a cartridge razor may feel uncomfortable at first, but will improve over time. It's a learning curve and I'd rather spend $5 on 100 razors than $25 on 5 razors :)
