Properly packaged with easy instructions to follow.1st problem after connecting to my Nvidia Shield : it doesn't respond from the distance between my couch and TV which is 10-12 feet away2nd problem the navigation controls in the inner rings are super close to the outer rings. Unless you have fingers of a toddler , I can't imagine any adult using this this remote and not depressing 2 or 3 keys at the same time to navigate left right up or down .Lastly the keyboard function on the underside as you use the remote for navigation feels super awkward in your hands . You can't hold this remote like a normal remote when using it for navigation and not as a keyboard.My 2cents - save your time and money on this . I opted to get WeChip G20 instead for my Nvidia Shield.
