These are really cute little pumpkin charms. Although the sizes were listed in the product description, I was still surprised at how very small these gourds actually are - little more than an eraser. The pendants are well made and I think they look much better than the photos that accompany the description. They're squat, wide, and shaped like real pumpkins, so they look adorable from every angle. The silver shaft is also detailed and the metal is polished smooth. I use pumpkins to accent strings of wooden beads that I place around the crowns of the witch hats that I decorate. They look great and since they are quite heavy for their size I use two on each hat, one at each end of the rope so they don't add too much weight. I still have a few pieces left, and I've also been thinking about making some simple necklaces. Pumpkin charms are pretty versatile - they're cute enough to be used alone in a simple piece of jewelry, or they'll be stunning as part of a more intricate design. I'm thinking of ordering another pack to make some matching earrings although I'm a little worried they might be too heavy. I have never made earrings before but I have a jewelry making kit with all the necessary hardware. I would also like to try a more elaborate necklace, but I may be overtaking myself as I already have a lot of Halloween themed crafts. These charms seem like a fun jewelry and accessory project that would also be appropriate for older children. The current price of $9.99 seems reasonable, although the cost could be quite high if someone needs a lot of these for a specific project.
