I love that these USB readers use 3.0 technology because they can transfer data faster than my old USB 2.0. My laptop has a USB 3.0 port, so it works without any problems. It can read micro and regular SD cards - there are two card slots (on the side of the reader). Two come in one package. Both have a hard plastic lid and a small space to attach a thin leash or chain (back side down). Thank you for helping us keep a good pace at a low cost. You will come in handy!
