I bought the large ones because there weren't many of them and I wanted them to be looser than tight. Depending on how you want to fit someone my size, you can probably get away with small or medium. The large one is baggy on me but with the drawstring I can still get it to work and it looks pretty good. I mostly just wear it around the house, but it's great for running. It can be worn all year round, in cold weather I just throw on a cardigan. The material is of good quality, it doesn't show through at all from the thick side. Soft and also very comfortable.
